The Good Deeds Charities need your help to fill a 20' moving truck with clothing, toys, and housewares left over from the Cathedral School Spring Fair. Their fair ends at 4 but we need volunteers ready at each station, packing things before then. MANDATORY orientation for volunteers is 3-3:30 with packing to commence at 3:45, we must be DONE and vacate the premises by 5.

100% commitment of time and punctuality required! Please RSVP “going” if and only if you can be there 3-5.

WHERE: Synod Hall on the grounds of Cathedral St John the Divine at 110 and Amsterdam

WHEN: 2:59pm prompt arrival and must be able to stay till at least 5 pm.

WHO: We need at least 6 people for this task. Must commit the entire two hours.

This is an annual fair supporting the school’s Financial Aid program, the largest of any private school in the city. 40% of the students receive aid, including some of our volunteer families.

Each year the school has a significant surplus of items, ranging from “New with tags” to gently used. We will be collecting those items to give to New Yorkers in need the next day for the quarterly Good Deeds Giveaway!
